 DIVISIONS

Warren County is located in the beautiful mountains of the Shenandoah Valley in northwestern Virginia.

40 uniformed personnel serve 40,727 residents, and countless visitors, over a geographically diverse 217.5 square miles - including the Town of Front Royal. The department protects 20 miles of Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive, George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah River State Park, 14 miles of Interstate 66, and over 20 miles of the Shenandoah River. Operations personnel are divided between three 24-hour shifts and cover response areas separated into 8 geographical districts, including 2 automatic aid districts, and provide mutual aid to 6 neighboring jurisdictions.

The department consists of 6 divisions. Together, these divisions ensure both the residents and visitors of the community receive the highest level of service.
