In accordance with the Code of Warren County, VA, the Warren County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, Office of the Fire Marshal is requiring certain facilities to obtain an annual operating permit and annual fire prevention inspection to ensure the safe operation of said facilities.

Code of Warren County, VA
In accordance with ยง 27-98 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, and with Sections 107.2, 107.4, 107.10, and 107.13 of the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code, each of the following facilities shall be required to obtain from the Fire Marshal an annual operating permit, and shall be subject to an annual inspection by the Fire Marshal to ensure the safe operation of such facility. There is hereby established an annual inspection fee which, within 30 days following invoice or assessment by the Fire Marshal, shall be paid to the Treasurer of Warren County in the amount shown below.

Inspections and fees based upon registered complaint. The Fire Marshal shall inspect any building or facility within Warren County upon a registered complaint by any person to the Fire Marshal relating to the safety of such building or facility. For the purpose of this section, a registered complaint is either a written or oral complaint to the Warren County Department of Fire and Rescue Services Office of the Fire Marshal about the health, safety and well-being of oneself or another by leaving detailed information on a fire and / or safety hazard, which complaint includes the complainant's name, address, telephone contact number, and date and time of complaint, which information may be kept confidential by the office of the Fire Marshal, but shall not include complaints without such information being furnished. There is hereby established an inspection fee for inspections made after such a registered complaint which fee, within 30 days following invoice or assessment by the Fire Marshal, shall be paid to the Treasurer of Warren County in the amount shown below:
Inspections following registered complaints: two inspections without charge; $25 for each subsequent inspection
